Founded in 1908 Wolstenholme is a family owned company based in Sheffield, England (manufacturing and sales) and in Cincinnati, USA (sales and marketing for N.America)
Wolstenholme Machine Knives has adopted lean manufacturing techniques, abandoning the usual process-oriented production in favour of a product based approach with the aim that operators become product experts for continuous improvement.
We manufacture and sell high grade straight, circular and formed knives for the packaging, food processing, graphics, medical, paper converting and other industries.
Facilities:
A modern (1994) purpose built factory of 3,160m2/34,000 sq ft equipped with the most up to date plant, including laser cutters, CNC precision grinders and machining centres, heat treatment furnaces and forming presses. Extensive inspection equipment includes a 3D co-ordinate measuring machine.
