Wolstenholme Machine Knives consider ourselves without equal in producing an accurate, hard wearing tray knife from hardened stainless steel, with or without coatings. We hold a wide variety of toothed strip on the shelf and also available with special tooth pitches to improve performance when cutting newly developed film. Because we manufacture entirely in house we are able to react to customer demand with very short lead times with complete process control.
Our ability to re-create any tray knife from a sample or a DXF drawing file, from which we produce our own laser cut templates to assure accurate repeatability in a short lead time, has secured our position as approved suppliers to machine builders worldwide.
Manufacturing:
Wolstenholme Machine Knives has invested heavily in the highest specification machinery to maintain our competitive advantage in the market place including bending machines capable of forming the most intricate of shapes. These machines in conjunction with the latest TIG and fusion welding, punching and shot blasting equipment add up to a state of the art manufacturing cell. Our investment in machinery, personnel and working methods and the implementation of product based lean manufacturing cells throughout the plant has particularly automated what was a very labour intensive process.
